According to the National Weather Service, the heatwave will start today, with highs pushing 100°F in Sacramento. Wednesday will cool slightly to 88°F, but temperatures will rise again, with Friday expecting to reach 96°F. Overnight lows will provide little relief, staying in the 50s and 60s.
