Cities including Boston, Worcester, Providence, and Hartford should prepare for slippery roads and reduced visibility. In southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, snowfall totals will be lower, around 2 to 4 inches, but icy conditions remain a concern.
Officials urge residents to limit travel, use caution on roadways, and prepare for possible power disruptions. Temperatures are expected to remain near freezing, prolonging hazardous conditions into Sunday evening.
