Wilmington, OH – Residents in southwest Ohio should prepare for scattered rain showers today and fluctuating weather through Thanksgiving week. This afternoon, highs will climb to the low 40s under cloudy skies, but rain is likely from late morning into early evening.

According to the National Weather Service, rain chances will linger until tonight, with lows dipping to 38°F. Saturday offers a brief reprieve with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 47°F, but more rain is expected as Thanksgiving approaches. Sunday will warm up to 53°F and stay dry, making it an ideal day for outdoor plans before wet weather returns.

Thanksgiving travelers should monitor Monday’s forecast, as rain is likely during the day, particularly along I-71 and other key travel routes. Monday’s high will reach 58°F before temperatures drop sharply overnight to near-freezing levels. By midweek, Tuesday brings a sunny break with highs around 43°F.

Thanksgiving Day itself could see rain with highs in the low 40s, adding potential challenges for holiday commutes. Residents should stay updated on changing conditions to avoid weather-related delays.

Prepare for slick roads and reduced visibility, especially during peak travel periods Monday. Keep umbrellas and jackets handy, as rain gear will likely be necessary.

Stay tuned for updates as the week progresses to ensure smooth holiday plans.
