Quad Cities Forecast: Patchy Fog Overnight, Mild & Sunny Week Ahead

Davenport, IA – The National Weather Service Quad Cities reports that patchy fog is expected to develop late tonight into early Sunday morning (Nov. 2), which may become locally dense in spots.

Following a chilly night with lows between 28° and 34°F, conditions will turn milder starting Sunday, marking the beginning of a warm-up that will continue into midweek.

Sunday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and highs between 51° and 54°F, followed by even warmer afternoons early next week. Monday will reach near 60°F, and Tuesday could climb into the mid to upper 60s across the Iowa–Illinois border region.

According to the NWS, the warming trend will last through at least Wednesday, with continued dry and calm weather. Drivers should use caution Sunday morning, especially near rivers and low-lying areas, where visibility may be reduced by early fog.
