Pueblo, Colorado – Pueblo is under an extended stretch of wet, stormy weather through midweek as repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms raise the risk of localized flooding.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms continues through Wednesday, with periods of heavy rainfall likely Monday and stronger storms possible Tuesday afternoon. These storms may produce hail up to ¾ inch, gusts near 50 mph, and 1 to 3 inches of total rainfall through Wednesday evening.

Daily downpours could create standing water and flooding in poor drainage areas, especially near the Arkansas River and I-25 corridor. The main storm threats include lightning, hail, and gusty outflow winds. While snowfall will stay above 10,000 feet in the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountains, Pueblo will see only rain—sometimes heavy.

Stormy Timeline for Pueblo:

  • Monday: High 59°F, storms likely by mid-morning
  • Tuesday: 90% chance of storms again, high 51°F
  • Wednesday: Showers tapering, high 56°F
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, slight chance of storms, high 66°F
  • Friday: Dry and warmer, high 72°F

Sun returns by Thursday afternoon, with temperatures rebounding into the upper 60s and low 70s for the weekend. Until then, residents are urged to drive with caution and stay alert for flooding alerts.
