Pittsburgh, PA – Residents should prepare for a shift in the weather this coming week, as the region faces widespread chances of rain. According to the National Weather Service, while Sunday will bring sunny skies and warm temperatures reaching the 80s, the rest of the week will see cooler weather and increased rain chances.

Showers are expected to start Monday, with temperatures dipping into the mid-70s. Rain will likely persist through Wednesday, with thunderstorms possible. By midweek, highs will only reach the low 70s, significantly cooler than Sunday’s forecast.

According to the Weather Service, the pattern is considered “unsettled,” and rain could continue sporadically through Thursday. By the weekend, Pittsburgh should see clearer skies with more seasonable temperatures, staying in the mid-70s.
