Phoenix, AZ – Residents can expect a warming trend as the weekend approaches, offering mild conditions before possible rain arrives Sunday night.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), temperatures will rise steadily over the next few days. Friday’s high is expected to hit 68°F under increasing clouds. Saturday and Sunday will also see highs near 70°F with mostly sunny skies before rain chances develop late Sunday. Overnight lows will remain cool, dipping into the mid-40s.
The NWS advises residents to prepare for potential showers on Sunday night, with rain chances at 30% after 11 p.m. By Monday, rain becomes more likely, with a 40% chance of showers expected throughout the day. Calm winds and mild temperatures will prevail during the daytime hours, making it an ideal weekend for outdoor activities ahead of the wet weather.
For tonight, skies will remain clear with temperatures dropping to a brisk 38°F. Light east-northeast winds will maintain a calm and pleasant evening.
Looking further into next week, the region will see continued cooler conditions with highs in the mid-60s and additional rain chances through Tuesday.
