Warren, PA – A winter weather advisory has been issued for Warren and McKean counties, with significant snow and strong winds expected through Thursday morning.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), 3 to 5 inches of snow will accumulate across the region, with totals exceeding 6 inches in the perennial snowbelt of Northwestern Warren County. Winds gusting up to 35 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow, creating hazardous travel conditions on roads like Route 219.

Drivers are urged to slow down and prepare for slippery roads, especially during the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes. Residents should also watch for icy conditions on sidewalks and driveways. The snow is forecasted to taper off by Thursday afternoon, giving way to colder, calmer conditions into the weekend.
