For the Susquehanna Valley and Central and Northern Mountains, the advisory starts at 2 p.m. and lasts until 4 a.m. Friday.
In southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, the advisory takes effect at 3 p.m. and extends until midnight. Affected areas include Philadelphia, Allentown, Wilmington, Atlantic City, and Dover.
Wind speeds will range from 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching 45 to 50 mph. The strongest winds are expected in elevated areas and open landscapes. Residents should secure outdoor objects, as unsecured items may be blown away. Tree limbs may fall, potentially leading to power outages.
Drivers, particularly those operating high-profile vehicles, are urged to exercise caution. The National Weather Service advises monitoring weather updates and preparing for potential disruptions.
