Philadelphia, PA – Snow squalls could impact parts of Pennsylvania Tuesday morning, creating hazardous driving conditions with low visibility and gusty winds. A 20% chance of snow squalls or showers is expected along the I-78 corridor. Although no significant snow accumulation is likely, even light snowfall can reduce visibility and make travel treacherous.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly, snow squalls may form early Tuesday before dissipating by mid-morning. A lull in precipitation is expected before another round of light snow or rain showers begins late Tuesday night. The second round may impact areas farther north, including the Poconos and northwestern New Jersey, into Wednesday.

Temperatures will remain cold throughout the week, with highs reaching the low 40s Tuesday and dipping to the upper 20s at night. Winds up to 15 mph could accompany Tuesday’s conditions, increasing the risk of slick roads.

Motorists are advised to monitor updates and delay travel during snow squalls if possible. Check the latest forecasts at weather.gov/phi for real-time updates.
