Pittsburgh, PA – After a mild weekend, Pittsburgh residents should prepare for a shift in the weather starting Tuesday, with rain expected to move in and cooler temperatures following midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will see increasing clouds with a 50% chance of rain, bringing highs near 48°F. Rain is likely to continue Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures staying in the mid-40s during the day and dropping into the low 30s at night.

Monday will offer a brief break with partly sunny skies and a high near 49°F before showers develop Tuesday afternoon. Winds will remain light, but wet conditions could impact commutes, especially during the Tuesday evening rush.

By midweek, temperatures will dip slightly, with highs around 46°F on Thursday and overnight lows near freezing. Scattered showers will linger through Thursday night before skies begin clearing Friday, bringing a return to drier conditions and sunshine with highs near 44°F.

Residents should plan for wet roads and possible delays Tuesday through Thursday. Keep an umbrella handy and stay updated on forecasts for any changes in rainfall timing.
