State College, PA – A warm and sunny Wednesday is in store for central Pennsylvania, but winter isn’t quite done yet. Temperatures will reach near 68°F in State College before a storm system moves in, bringing rain and possible snow by Thursday night.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will see partly sunny skies and increasing winds, with gusts reaching up to 24 mph. Conditions remain calm Wednesday night, with a low around 47°F.

Thursday marks the first full day of spring, but rain will begin moving in by late morning, with winds gusting up to 20 mph. By Thursday night, colder air may mix in, bringing a chance of snow before the system moves out. While little to no accumulation is expected, slick roads could develop overnight.

Friday will bring sunshine but cooler temperatures, with a high near 49°F. The weekend sees a mix of clouds and showers, with highs in the mid-50s and overnight lows dipping into the 30s.

Drivers should use caution Thursday night into early Friday, especially on bridges and overpasses, which may become slippery. Stay updated with the latest forecasts as the system approaches.
