Lincoln, IL – Central Illinois residents should prepare for patchy fog tonight, especially along and northwest of the Champaign-to-Taylorville line. The National Weather Service forecasts that the fog will dissipate by Wednesday morning, giving way to partly sunny skies and temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70s.

According to the National Weather Service, isolated showers are possible Wednesday afternoon, though most areas will stay dry. Temperatures are expected to stay mild throughout the day. Another warm day is expected on Thursday, with highs reaching 75-80 degrees. However, shower chances will increase along and south of the I-72 corridor by the afternoon.

Overnight lows for Wednesday and Thursday will dip into the upper 50s to low 60s. The remainder of the week looks mostly mild, with periods of cloudiness and rain possible. Drivers should be cautious of reduced visibility during the foggy conditions.
