Raleigh, NC – Commuters in Raleigh this morning should be cautious as dense fog blankets the area, particularly impacting visibility along major routes like I-40 and I-540. The National Weather Service advises drivers to allow extra time for travel until the fog clears by mid-morning. As the skies gradually open up, expect partly cloudy conditions, with isolated showers possible later in the afternoon. Today’s high will reach the mid-80s.

According to the National Weather Service, more patchy fog is expected Saturday morning, especially before 9 a.m., followed by a warm and mostly sunny day with highs near 82 degrees. Sunday will also bring clear skies and slightly warmer temperatures, peaking at 84 degrees. Overnight lows throughout the weekend will remain in the mid-60s, offering cooler conditions for evening activities.

Looking ahead to early next week, Monday and Tuesday will continue the trend of pleasant weather. Highs are forecast to hover around 80 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and little chance of rain. By midweek, temperatures may dip slightly but remain mild, providing a favorable start to autumn.
