According to the National Weather Service in Portland, there’s a 20 percent chance of light showers after 4 a.m. Thursday, following a similar slight chance Wednesday night. Lows will dip to the low 50s with calm overnight winds, while Thursday’s highs will hover near 73°F under partly sunny skies.
While any rainfall will be limited, early morning commuters along I-5 and OR-126 should be prepared for slick patches and reduced visibility. Winds will shift northwest at 5 mph Thursday afternoon, calming by evening. By Friday, Eugene warms significantly, with highs reaching 84°F under clear skies—ushering in a dry and sunny weekend.
No major alerts have been issued, but residents are advised to monitor local conditions, especially before dawn Thursday. Dry weather is expected to dominate the region through Sunday, with only a slight chance of rain returning Monday.
