Portland, OR – Spring weather is making its presence known in Portland this weekend, bringing sunny skies and mild temperatures that will last through the early part of next week. Expect mostly clear skies on Sunday, with highs reaching into the upper 60s and low 70s, perfect for outdoor activities. However, Portland residents may encounter a brief window of rain overnight tonight.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40% chance of showers overnight, mainly before 5 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures will dip to around 49°F with light northwest winds of 6 mph. By Saturday morning, though, the rain will clear out, leaving behind mostly cloudy skies with a high near 62°F and winds from the northwest at 6-8 mph.

For the rest of the weekend, spring conditions will dominate the forecast, with sunny weather on Sunday and Monday. Highs will remain in the mid to upper 60s on Sunday, reaching a warm 77°F by Monday afternoon. Winds on both days will be light, making it ideal for outdoor plans, though there will be a slight breeze picking up in the afternoon.

By Tuesday, Portland can expect sunny skies and temperatures pushing the low 80s, a welcome break from the cooler spring days earlier in the season. Lows will stay mild, dipping into the 40s and 50s each night.

Looking ahead to the week, the weather remains pleasant, with highs in the mid-70s for the remainder of the week and only a slight chance of rain on Wednesday.

Stay prepared by checking the latest forecast as conditions evolve, especially if you’re planning outdoor activities, and make sure to stay hydrated as temperatures warm up.
