Medford, OR – Spring mornings in southern Oregon continue to start foggy, but sunshine and warmth quickly follow in Medford this week.

Drivers along the I-5 corridor should be prepared for reduced visibility Tuesday morning due to patchy fog before 11 a.m., especially around Rogue Valley. Commutes could be slower during early hours. Conditions will then clear, with temperatures climbing to a sunny 79°F by afternoon. Light and variable wind will keep the day pleasant.

According to the National Weather Service, calm conditions will hold through Tuesday night, which will be partly cloudy with lows near 52°F. However, Wednesday begins to shift, with a 40% chance of showers by afternoon, increasing to 80% overnight. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light but could impact travel into Thursday morning.

Thursday through Saturday will see a mix of showers and cloudy skies. Highs will range from the mid-50s to near 60°F, with snow levels lowering to 4300 feet late Thursday. Rain continues into Friday, especially at higher elevations.

By Sunday, drier air may return, bringing partly sunny skies and highs near 59°F. Residents should stay updated with local forecasts and be cautious driving during morning fog.
