Medford, OR – Freezing fog continues to blanket Southern Oregon, creating dangerous conditions for drivers and residents. A Freezing Fog Advisory remains in effect through Thursday morning, impacting highways like I-5 and rural roads across Douglas, Jackson, and Josephine counties.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), visibility may drop below a quarter mile in some areas, with black ice likely to form on roadways. Drivers are urged to use low-beam headlights, maintain safe following distances, and avoid sudden stops. Commuters should allow extra time and consider delaying travel until conditions improve.
Five-Day Weather Outlook
Thursday: Morning freezing fog will linger before clearing in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach 47°F, with calm winds.
