Pendleton, OR – A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday across Kittitas Valley and surrounding areas, including Interstates 90 and 82. Icy conditions and black ice are likely to develop overnight, creating hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), drivers should use caution and reduce speed, particularly in low-visibility zones. Patchy fog will persist throughout the Yakima Valley and Lower Basin, posing risks to commuters. Freezing fog is expected again late Thursday night.

The extended forecast calls for highs in the upper 30s to low 40s through the week, with mostly sunny skies Wednesday and Saturday. A chance of rain arrives Friday. Motorists are urged to stay alert for updates and prepare for changing conditions.
