According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, today’s high is expected to reach 65 degrees under sunny skies, with winds shifting north this afternoon. Tonight, temperatures will plummet to 29 degrees, with gusts potentially reaching 20 mph.
Thursday’s high will be a cooler 39 degrees, accompanied by gusty north winds near 20 mph throughout the day. The cooler conditions will linger into Thursday night, with lows dipping to 23 degrees. Travelers should exercise caution, particularly in open areas and bridges, where high winds could impact driving safety.
Looking ahead, Friday’s forecast offers relief with sunshine and a high near 48 degrees. A warming trend begins Saturday, with highs climbing to 58 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Sunday’s temperatures will peak near 60 degrees before another cold front approaches Monday.
For those in southeast Oklahoma, rain chances today are limited to the far southeastern corner, clearing by evening. Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
