Tulsa, Oklahoma – Oklahoma residents should brace for a round of isolated thunderstorms in the Tulsa area this afternoon after 1 p.m.—but relief arrives quickly, with clear skies and warm spring weather expected by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, scattered storms will develop Thursday afternoon across northeast Oklahoma. Some of these could be marginally severe, producing hail up to 1 inch in diameter and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
