According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, a Flood Warning remains in effect until 3 p.m. Tuesday for Tulsa, Osage, Creek, Pawnee, Wagoner, Rogers, and Washington counties. Areas such as US-75, US-169, and local roads near the Arkansas River remain susceptible to flash flooding. Rainfall totals have exceeded 3 to 6 inches in some locations since Sunday. Drivers should avoid flooded roads—“Turn around, don’t drown” remains a critical message today.
Looking ahead, partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s are expected Wednesday. But showers and thunderstorms could redevelop after 1 a.m. Thursday morning, with rain likely between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. A brief lull in activity is expected Friday, with sunny, warmer conditions into the weekend.
