Tulsa, Oklahoma Flash flooding could linger into midweek as thunderstorms drench northeastern Oklahoma, bringing road hazards and prolonged travel delays across Tulsa and beyond.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, a Flood Watch remains active through 7 p.m. Sunday, with continued flood risks and strong thunderstorms possible into Monday night and Tuesday morning. Multiple flood advisories and flash flood warnings were issued across Tulsa County, and the ground remains saturated heading into the workweek.

Localized flooding on highways like US-75 and the Broken Arrow Expressway could impact morning commutes. Drivers should avoid low-lying roads and areas with poor drainage. Emergency managers are urging residents to prepare for additional downpours and have alternate routes ready.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected again Monday afternoon into evening, with sunny skies finally returning Monday night. But don’t put away the umbrella just yet — Tuesday brings a 50% chance of storms, and showers likely return Wednesday into Thursday.
