Tulsa, OK – The first full week of February kicks off with near-record warmth in Oklahoma, but midweek storms could bring abrupt changes.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Tulsa, Monday’s forecast calls for highs in the upper 70s before cooler air moves in Tuesday. By Wednesday, a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives, especially for areas north of I-40. Strong winds may also pose fire weather risks in southern Oklahoma.
The five-day forecast shows highs fluctuating between the upper 50s and mid-60s, with cooler mornings expected later in the week. While storm chances are low, forecasters warn of a few isolated thunderstorms developing late Wednesday.
Oklahomans should prepare for shifting conditions and monitor updates for any severe weather developments midweek.
