Cleveland, Ohio – A gray and damp Wednesday continues across much of Northeast Ohio, with on-and-off rain showers and cooler temperatures keeping conditions brisk through the day.

According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, highs will top out between 58°F and 66°F this afternoon, with rain chances ranging from 40% to 80%. Showers will linger through the evening and into the overnight hours, gradually tapering off by early Thursday. Overnight lows will dip to 52°F to 56°F with scattered rainfall still possible.

Cities including Akron, Youngstown, and Elyria should expect intermittent light rain and damp roads through the evening commute. While flooding is not expected, drivers should watch for slick conditions, especially on untreated surfaces. Umbrellas and jackets remain essential for anyone headed outdoors.

By Thursday, isolated showers could linger early, but temperatures are expected to rebound into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Sunshine may return gradually throughout the day, signaling the end of the midweek gloom.

Rain chances drop significantly by Thursday afternoon, but additional updates are expected if conditions shift.
