Wilmington, Ohio – Severe thunderstorms could slam much of southern and central Ohio Saturday afternoon, with damaging winds, large hail, and dangerous lightning expected along key travel routes including I-71, I-70, and I-75.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, a strong spring weather system will develop Saturday, bringing a 100% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Gusts could exceed 30 mph, and spotter activation may be needed due to the threat of hail and wind damage.
