Ohio – A cool March breeze moves through Cincinnati this morning as gray clouds hang over the Ohio River. The air feels brisk along riverfront streets and bridges connecting Ohio and Kentucky. But this chilly start quickly gives way to a dramatic spring warm-up before another sharp weather turn early next week.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect through the day, with gusts reaching 40 to 45 mph across the Cincinnati metro area. Drivers on I-71, I-75, and I-275 may notice sudden crosswinds, especially near open river crossings and elevated interchanges.

Temperatures climb quickly through the morning. Highs reach around 60 degrees as sunshine breaks through clouds by midday. The breeze keeps the air crisp, but conditions remain dry across Hamilton County and northern Kentucky.

Tonight brings calmer weather. Skies stay partly cloudy as temperatures drop to about 34 degrees. Roads remain dry and travel conditions stay quiet heading into the weekend.

Saturday turns milder with increasing clouds and highs near 56 degrees across southwest Ohio.

The real warm surge arrives Sunday. Southerly winds pull warm air northward across the Ohio Valley. Afternoon temperatures climb to around 74 degrees, giving the region a brief taste of early spring warmth.

Clouds thicken through the day as the next storm system approaches. Rain develops Sunday evening and continues through the night. Wet pavement may slow travel across downtown Cincinnati and nearby highways.

Colder air rushes in Monday morning. Rain may mix with or change to snow, especially during the first half of the day. Accumulation appears light, but brief slushy patches could develop.

Temperatures fall sharply Monday night with lows near 19 degrees, raising the risk of flash freezing on untreated roads.

Five-Day Outlook for Cincinnati, Ohio

Saturday: Increasing clouds, mild, high 56°F
Sunday: Mostly cloudy and warm, high 74°F
Sunday Night: Rain developing, low 37°F
Monday: Rain mixing with snow, colder, high 50°F
