Columbus, OH – Thunderstorms could hit the Columbus area Sunday afternoon, with gusty winds of up to 26 mph, making travel along I-70 and surrounding areas challenging. Though the chance of rain remains low at 20%, the storms could bring brief but intense downpours.

The National Weather Service forecasts highs of 84°F on Sunday, dropping sharply to 49°F overnight as the storms clear out. By Monday, cooler temperatures in the upper 60s are expected, along with clear skies. Drivers are advised to stay updated on weather alerts as wind gusts could create hazardous conditions.
