Cleveland, OH – Northeast Ohio faces bitter cold Wednesday night, with wind chills dipping to minus 5 degrees before a warming trend this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will remain in the teens Wednesday night, with wind chills falling between zero and minus 5 degrees. Snow showers are possible early Thursday, with light accumulation. Winds will shift from the northwest, reaching up to 15 mph.

Thursday will stay cold, with a high of 22°F and lingering snow showers. By Friday, conditions improve, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 26°F. The weekend sees a noticeable warm-up, with highs reaching the 30s on Saturday and into the 40s by Monday.

Drivers should remain cautious, especially Thursday morning, as slick roads are possible. While conditions remain cold through Friday, the upcoming warm spell provides relief from this week’s arctic chill.

Friday: Partly sunny, high of 26°F.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, high of 32°F.
