Athol could see freezing temperatures as early as Friday night, and temperatures are expected to remain cold through the weekend. Residents should act now to bring plants indoors or cover them to prevent damage.
Highs across the region will remain in the 50s during the day, with overnight temperatures dropping significantly, making frost a concern for early mornings, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Colville and Cusick are also at high risk, with a 55% and 40% chance of freezing temperatures, respectively.
