Eagle River, WI – Snowfall is forecast to sweep across Northern Wisconsin starting tonight, making roads slick and potentially hazardous for Monday morning commuters in Vilas County. Travelers in the area, including near Eagle River and Lac Du Flambeau, should prepare for delays and use caution while driving.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Vilas County from 10 p.m. Sunday to noon Monday. Snowfall accumulations are expected to range between two and four inches. These conditions could lead to snow-covered roads and reduced visibility, particularly during the early morning hours.

Motorists are urged to slow down and allow extra travel time. The hazardous conditions could affect routes frequently used for commutes and holiday preparations, including those near County Highway G and other secondary roads. Road updates can be accessed by calling 511 or visiting 511wi.gov for the latest Wisconsin travel information.
