Green Bay, WI – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for northern Wisconsin, with additional snowfall expected to create hazardous road conditions through this afternoon. Areas including Florence, Forest, Oneida, and Vilas counties could see another 1–3 inches of snow, slowing commutes and travel.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, peak snowfall rates are expected late this morning, tapering off in the afternoon. Snow-covered and slippery roads are likely throughout the advisory area, particularly on highways such as US-45 and WI-32. Drivers should plan for reduced visibility and slower travel speeds, especially during the morning commute.

Temperatures in Green Bay today will hover around 40°F with rain likely later in the day. Northern regions will remain colder, allowing snow accumulation to persist. Gusty northwest winds will develop this evening, with temperatures dipping into the 20s overnight.

Looking ahead, Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies and highs near 32°F across the region. Thanksgiving Day is expected to stay dry, with temperatures reaching 31°F, making for favorable travel conditions later this week.

Residents in northern counties are urged to take extra precautions if traveling today, ensuring vehicles are winter-ready and allowing extra time for commutes. Stay tuned to updates from the National Weather Service and monitor local forecasts for any changes to conditions.
