Northern Ohio to Experience Strong Winds and Heavy Rain Sunday

Cleveland, OH – Northern Ohio is in for a weather rollercoaster as a heat wave continues through today and tomorrow, with heat indices climbing into the mid to upper 90s. The US National Weather Service has issued a forecast predicting potential afternoon thunderstorms today, which could bring gusty winds as the main concern.

According to the US National Weather Service, the heat wave might reach a peak tomorrow with temperatures possibly touching 100°F. As the weekend progresses, a cold front is expected to move east on Sunday, bringing widespread convection across the region. This weather shift is likely to result in strong winds and heavy rain, posing a significant threat on Sunday.

Today’s forecast includes hot temperatures in the 90s, with tonight cooling down to 73°F. Saturday will remain hot with a high of 93°F. Sunday marks the arrival of the cold front, dropping temperatures to 86°F and introducing thunderstorms. By Monday, temperatures will cool further to 81°F before rising again to 90°F on Tuesday.
