Duluth, Minnesota – Breezy and mild conditions will continue in Duluth this week, with a slight chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms Friday night before sunshine returns for the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Duluth will see highs in the mid-70s by Friday, with east winds shifting to the south at 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. A 20% chance of precipitation could bring brief thunderstorms before midnight, followed by clearing skies.

While most of northeastern Minnesota will remain dry, areas in Carlton and southern St. Louis counties may experience gusty winds and isolated rain Friday night. No flooding or severe weather is expected, but winds could shift quickly from south to north overnight, which may affect high-profile vehicles on Highway 61 and I-35.

Saturday and Sunday will bring sunny skies, continued breezy conditions, and unseasonably warm highs near 77°F. Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor items and remain hydrated during peak daytime heat.

Winds remain strong into next week, with gusts reaching 25 mph through Tuesday. Another update will follow if storm chances increase heading into the weekend.
