Gaylord, MI – Northern Michigan will enjoy one more day of warm and sunny weather before a cold front moves in. Today’s temperatures will reach highs between 71 and 80 degrees, offering pleasant conditions for outdoor activities. However, a shift in weather is expected on Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop as the cold front moves through the region on Tuesday. Temperatures will drop, with highs ranging between 62 and 71 degrees. Overnight lows could fall into the 30s in some areas, making for a chilly evening.

Wednesday will bring mostly sunny skies with mild temperatures, ranging from 64 to 70 degrees. The weather will remain calm into Thursday and Friday with partly sunny skies and highs staying between 60 and 75 degrees. Overnight temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s and 40s.

This shift in weather marks a return to more seasonable conditions typical for late September and early October. Residents are encouraged to prepare for cooler weather and keep an eye on forecasts for potential thunderstorms on Tuesday.
