Gaylord, Michigan – Lingering morning rain showers will give way to clearing skies today, as high pressure builds over the region. This will lead to cooler but pleasant conditions, setting the stage for a calm finish to the last weekend of April.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions will gradually improve throughout the day. By tonight, skies will be mostly clear with light, variable winds. Expect low temperatures to dip between 28°F and 34°F, with a slight chill in the air.

On Sunday, partly to mostly sunny conditions are anticipated, although clouds will increase later in the day. Highs will reach the low to mid-50s, making it a mild and comfortable day for outdoor activities. Sunday night will bring increasing clouds and temperatures will cool down to a range between 38°F and 48°F.

Looking ahead, the weather will remain calm through the weekend, but a new weather system developing in the central U.S. could bring potential severe storms to the Midwest early next week. Stay tuned to local updates for further alerts.
