Gaylord, Michigan – Drivers in Otsego County should prepare for gusty winds and a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, as summer-like warmth rolls in.

According to the National Weather Service, isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3rd. Wind gusts may reach up to 35 mph, especially along US-131 and other exposed roadways. Highs will peak near 82°F, with breezy southwest winds making travel more difficult for high-profile vehicles. While storm chances remain low at 20%, the combination of wind and heat demands caution.

South winds up to 15 mph and gusts of 30 mph could continue overnight into early Wednesday.
