Northern Maine to See Dry Weather Through Friday, Rain Likely by Weekend

Caribou, ME – Northern and Eastern Maine will see continued dry, mild weather through Friday. The National Weather Service predicts only a slight chance of showers in the far northern areas late tonight or early Thursday. Patchy fog is possible late tonight and Thursday night.

Rain is likely to begin late Friday night, lasting into Saturday. Forecasters expect rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch. However, the rain is predicted to taper off by Saturday night, clearing up for Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will bring dry conditions and partly sunny skies, with highs reaching the lower to mid-60s. Residents can expect comfortable temperatures for the remainder of the week, with evening lows hovering in the mid-40s.
