South Bend, Ind. – Northern Indiana will see rising temperatures and mostly sunny skies through Monday before a shift toward breezier, wetter weather begins Tuesday evening.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service Northern Indiana, highs will climb from the low 60s Sunday to the mid-80s by Tuesday. Humidity levels will also increase, setting the stage for scattered rain showers late Tuesday as clouds move in from the west.
Today and Monday bring dry conditions with daytime highs between 63–78°F and lows ranging from the mid-40s to mid-60s. Winds will remain light through Monday before picking up on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s forecast includes gusty breezes and increased cloud cover throughout the day, with rain chances developing after sunset. Cities such as Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Warsaw could see late evening showers, potentially affecting evening commutes or outdoor plans.
Residents are encouraged to prepare for a warmer, more humid start to the week and keep umbrellas handy for Tuesday evening. While no severe weather is expected, slick roads could develop during showers, especially in rural areas.
Additional updates are expected as rain timing becomes more certain. A broader warm pattern continues into midweek.
