Fort Wayne, Indiana – Scattered rain will persist across northern Indiana through Friday, keeping roads slick and skies gray before a much warmer and drier pattern sets in for the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service Northern Indiana, rainfall totals between 0.10″ and 0.40″ are possible from now through Friday evening, with the highest rain chances today (50–90%) tapering off to 10–15% Thursday and 15–35% Friday. Highs during this period will hover in the upper 60s to mid-70s, with overnight lows in the low 50s.

Localized showers may impact cities like South Bend, Fort Wayne, and Warsaw, especially during morning and evening commutes. Drivers should allow extra time on wet roads and check for brief ponding or reduced visibility. Outdoor plans may need adjusting, but severe weather is not expected.

By Saturday, sunshine returns, with highs jumping to the low 70s. The warming trend continues through Memorial Day, with Monday’s temperatures reaching 80–83°F — ideal for parades, picnics, and travel.

Rain chances end Friday night, and no additional advisories are expected at this time. Updates will follow if the pattern shifts.
