Snowfall is expected to continue across the Northern and Wyoming Black Hills, with 2 to 4 additional inches of accumulation forecasted by this evening. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory early Wednesday, replacing a previously issued Winter Storm Warning.
According to the advisory, the snow will persist throughout the day, potentially causing slippery road conditions during both the morning and evening commutes. Impacted areas include Lead, Deadwood, Sundance, and nearby communities.
Travelers are urged to slow down and exercise caution. For updated road conditions, residents in affected areas are encouraged to dial 511.
The advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. MST today.
