Huntsville, AL – A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect for north Alabama and southern Tennessee from midnight to 10 a.m. Friday, with wind chills dropping as low as 0°F.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Huntsville reports that cities including Florence, Decatur, and Fayetteville, TN could experience dangerously cold conditions.
Residents should bundle up, limit outdoor exposure, and ensure pets and livestock have warm shelter. Officials also advise checking on vulnerable individuals to ensure they have adequate heating.
While temperatures will rise Friday afternoon, another cold snap may impact the region early next week.
