According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, thunderstorms will likely develop after 2 p.m. Tuesday, with a 70% chance of rain and storms stretching from northwest Ohio into northwest Pennsylvania. Some storms could produce damaging winds and localized flooding, particularly in urban areas and along I-90.

Cleveland is expected to reach a high near 79°F on Tuesday before storms roll through, while areas like Lorain, Akron, and Erie, Pennsylvania, could see strong cells during the late afternoon and early evening commute. Winds may gust up to 29 mph, with the highest impacts near the lakeshore. Residents are urged to secure outdoor items, charge mobile devices, and avoid unnecessary travel during storm periods.
