Fort Worth, TX – A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for portions of North Central and Northeast Texas, effective from 6 a.m. Thursday to noon Friday. Heavy mixed precipitation, transitioning to snow Thursday evening, is expected to bring hazardous travel conditions to the region.
According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulations between 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with isolated areas potentially receiving up to 8 inches in intense snow bands. The affected area includes major cities such as Dallas, Fort Worth, Denton, and Sherman.
