According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, lingering rain will clear by Sunday morning, primarily east of I-35. Skies will turn partly cloudy, with highs near 61°F in Dallas-Fort Worth and 60°F in Waco.
By Monday, sunshine and warmer temperatures return, with highs reaching the low to mid-70s. Tuesday and Wednesday will remain sunny, with highs in the mid-70s. A weak cold front arrives Thursday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures in the low 70s.
Residents should prepare for wet roads tonight and early Sunday but can expect a dry and pleasant week ahead.
