North Dakota Winter Storm Warning: Snow and High Winds Persist Through Wednesday Evening

Bismarck, ND – North-central and northwestern North Dakota remain under a Winter Storm Warning as snow and strong winds continue to impact the region Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, the warning, which is in effect until 6 p.m. CST Wednesday, forecasts additional snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches, with localized higher totals. Wind gusts up to 50 mph are expected, creating blowing snow and significantly reducing visibility.

The warning affects areas including Minot, Bottineau, and Rugby. Slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions are anticipated. Residents are urged to exercise caution and carry emergency supplies such as a flashlight, food, and water if travel is unavoidable.
