Green Bay, Wis. – Steady rain will drench parts of north-central and far northeastern Wisconsin today, with isolated storms possible in other regions as showers linger into the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, Friday will bring the highest rain chances to Wausau, Rhinelander, and Marinette, where highs will range from the mid-50s to upper 60s. Isolated thunderstorms may also develop across the rest of the state, with scattered showers continuing Saturday and Sunday, primarily across the same northern zones.

Green Bay, Door County, and Shawano may see brief breaks in the rain Saturday, but pop-up storms remain possible both afternoons. While Sunday will feel slightly warmer, with highs nearing 80°F in the Fox Valley and central counties, isolated storms could again develop by midday.

Travelers should prepare for reduced visibility and slick roads in the rain-prone regions, especially on highways like US-51 and WI-29. Residents are encouraged to keep umbrellas and weather radios handy and avoid outdoor events during storm windows.

Scattered showers and storms could continue into early next week. Additional updates are expected from the NWS if rainfall intensifies or storm threats grow.
