Green Bay, WI — A Frost Advisory has been issued for north-central Wisconsin overnight, as temperatures are expected to rapidly drop. Lows will range from the mid-30s in northern and central regions to the mid-40s along the lake shore.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday. Residents in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas are urged to take precautions to protect cold-sensitive plants. Patchy fog may also develop after midnight.
Rhinelander, Antigo, and Wausau could see temperatures as low as 36 degrees, while areas near Green Bay will remain slightly warmer, with lows around 41 degrees. The advisory affects a wide area, including Iron Mountain, Eagle River, and Oconto.
Residents are encouraged to bring plants indoors or cover them to prevent frost damage. As clouds clear and winds subside, temperatures will continue to drop quickly.
