Denver, CO – Residents can expect a stretch of clear skies and mild weather as Denver heads into early December. With highs reaching the mid-50s by Tuesday, outdoor activities look promising for much of the week. However, wind gusts in the foothills could disrupt weekend plans.

According to the National Weather Service, winds in the high mountain areas east of the Continental Divide could reach speeds of 60 mph through Sunday evening. Gusty conditions may impact areas west of the I-25 corridor, including Jefferson and Boulder counties. Travelers along mountain roads are urged to exercise caution, particularly during peak wind hours.

Sunday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 51 degrees, with light southwest winds diminishing in the afternoon. The evening will bring clear skies and lows near 24, making it chilly for those heading out. Monday marks the beginning of a warming trend, with highs in the low 50s and abundant sunshine persisting through Wednesday.

The week’s dry conditions are ideal for Small Business Saturday shoppers and holiday decorators alike. Still, those in wind-prone areas should secure outdoor items to prevent damage. Despite the calm weather in Denver itself, drivers heading into the foothills should remain alert to strong winds, which could make travel hazardous, particularly for high-profile vehicles.

Looking ahead, no precipitation is expected through Friday, with daytime highs peaking near 56 midweek. Evenings will remain cold, with lows hovering around the high 20s to low 30s.
