Raleigh, N.C. – Central North Carolina is starting June with a stretch of nearly perfect weather, as dry air, sunshine, and mild temperatures spread across the region Monday.
According to the National Weather Service in Raleigh, a high-pressure system is bringing clear skies, low humidity, and light winds through the day. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s — slightly below normal for this time of year — while tonight’s lows are expected to dip into the upper 40s and 50s.
Cities across the Triangle, including Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, can expect comfortable afternoon conditions and a crisp, cool night under mostly clear skies. The pleasant weather extends across Greensboro, Fayetteville, and Rocky Mount, where light breezes will continue into the evening.
While no hazardous weather is expected, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the dry stretch before any midweek changes. Outdoor activities, travel, and early evening events should all benefit from the calm conditions.
Clear skies and mild temperatures are expected to linger into Tuesday, with more typical early-summer warmth returning later in the week.
